Saberton scored two goals in the Sals come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Appoquinimink last week.
Chris says his first goal was a spark.
"Obviously the first goal was big. We were down 1-0, so we needed a goal there. From there it just lifted us up and we got 3."
The Sals entered last week ranked 13th in the country in some polls, but Chris says they have to earn that respect on the field.
"We need to play like we're the better team. I think that's our problem right now. We'll just have to work on that and hopefully we get out of this slump we're in.
The Sals roster includes another Saberton, Chris' twin brother Brendan.
"A lot of people think it's easier because we play a lot together, and it is. But it's the same thing with everyone else on the team, we still have to communicate and work together."
