Ursuline's Lyons - WDEL Female HS Athlete of the Week

| VIDEO: Profile of Jillian Lyons | Ursuline's Jillian Lyons is this week's WDEL Female High School Athlete of the Week.
Jillian scored 12 points in the Raiders' state championship victory over Sanford Friday night.
Ursuline's center says coach John Noonan's advice in one area helped her point totals this year.
"Confidence. I don't think I had confidence before, but being with John and all of the coaches made me a lot more confident this season."
So what is the scouting report for the 6-foot-1 center?
"I'm a player who plays strong defense and can run up and down the court. I pass or shoot and never give up."
In the title game win, Jillian had to battle Sanford's Anjie White, who is off to George Washington next season.
"I do like those challenges because it definitely helps me as a player to see what they are doing on offense that maybe I can start doing on offense."
As for next year, Jillian is leaving her options open as to school and whether she'll play basketball, or even possible career paths.
"I don't really know what I want to major in, but likely something in business or accounting."
