Tower Hill lacrosse midfielder Jenna Chodos is this week's WDEL Female High School Athlete of the Week.
Jenna scored 5 goals in the Hillers' season opening win over Sanford.
Despite having 2-way responsibility as a midfielder, Jenna says it's not surprising she was such a big part of the offense.
"Although I'm a midfielder and I go over (the mid-line) on both sides, when I'm on offense, I'm just like anyone else."
While Jenna says putting the ball in the net is fun, she says she takes the most pride in her defensive work.
"We have something we call a bagel. That's when you block a shot. It's a good feeling because it's something that only you know and everyone else watching.
The Hillers' play a challenging schedule including Maryland Eastern Shore power Worcester Prep, matchups that Jenna says will help Tower Hill.
"We've been practicing for so long, so it's really nice to get to play a really good team. It tells us what we need to work on for the rest of the season."
Jenna Chodos is just a junior, but says she has a blueprint of the type of college she'd like to attend.
"A good balance of academics and athletics, and I'm trying to go (NCAA) Division I."
