Brandywine Valley Stamp Show this Saturday

If you or family members have any interest in postage stamps, may I recommend the area's major philatelic event of the year - DELPEX '09.

You can see the various stamp exhibits; check out various dealers; and meet fellow collectors. Interested young people welcome. (Philately may seem to be an antiquated hobby to some, but postage stamps still spur a unique interest and knowledge of geography, history, and world culture typically not replicated in the classroom!)

The theme this year for the show, and special commemorative covers: Abraham Lincoln's 200th Birth Anniversary, a common theme in '09 for many philatelic shows!

Just check out the Nur Temple west of New Castle near the Route 13/40 split SATURDAY - APRIL 4th -- 10 A.M.--5 P.M.

Check out the Brandywine Valley Stamp Club's website:

(I'll come over Saturday midday as soon as I'm done judging a middle-school speech tournament at Saint Elizabeth's!)
