What? Senator Bunning isn't Evil? But... those TV reporters said...

Oh, that horrible Republican, Jim Bunning! ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC yadda yadda have reported that the evil (R) is keeping Americans from getting unemployment benefits, stalled some road projects and destroyed the American Way of Life. He's so evil that an ABC reporter was compelled to forece his way into an elevator and blabber at the Senator. Here's what the slobbering national press is NOT reporting: Bunning is trying to compel President Obama to keep his word on "pay as you go." That's right. There's plenty of money for these programs in stimulus funds, but Obama and his Democrat Congress prefer to rack up more debt than keep their word on funding what you and I can afford. In fact, Obama recently signed "pay as you go." http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/80981-obama-pay-as-you-go-rules-necessary-and-now-law-along-with-higher-debt-ceiling

Perhaps ABC TV reporters should take a breath, read the news and turn their cameras toward President Obama.

what i don't understand is how he is doing it.
if 99 senators really want something done, it would be done.

This same Sen. Bunning voted against pay-as-you-go legislation this year. And in the past, he has voted for many supplemental spending bills that were not paid for. Now he's your hero?

what good is pay-as-you-go legislation if you can ignore it?

Bunning does have a point.

It's as if the president and Congress are going on a spree with a Macy's credit card --- and then letting our kids and grandkids pay the tab later.
