Immerse yourself in the world of Philately -- Postage Stamps: DELPEX 2012
If you or anyone in your family collects stamps - or would like to revive such a relaxing hobby from your youth - mark Saturday, April 14th.
The Brandywine Valley Stamp Club will host the 2012 DELPEX Stamp Show & Bourse at the Nur Shrine Center along Route 13 (very close to the 13/40 split). You can view stamp exhibits; look over stamps and covers from a variety of dealers; and just talk about philately.
Each show has a historic theme, and offers show covers portraying that theme. This year, it's the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the events which led to the penning of the Star-Spangled Banner.
