I don't usually watch much of the NFL draft (and didn't this year) but the only thing that jumped out at me was the ludicrous hugs commissioner Roger Gooddell gave to all the first round draft picks (and they gave him back).
My goodness, it looked like the hugs a serviceman or woman would get from a loved one as they were coming back from Afghanistan. I mean, come on, the full hug, huge squeeze, swaying back and forth...I expected a liplock any second!
Don't these guys know Gooddell is the one who will be slapping them with a hefty fine and possible suspension if they cross the line of proper football etiquette?
How about just a sincere handshake and words of congratulations next time?
