Gov. Chris Christie riding high in New Jersey poll, getting positive marks from even 2/3rds of Dems

The latest Fairleigh Dickinson University poll in New Jersey puts Governor Chris Christie's popularity at stratospheric levels (surely to go down some).

Considering some Republicans treated Christie as something of a pariah for his embrace of President Obama after Hurricane Sandy, it'll be interesting to see how many national Republicans say let bygones be bygones!

Check out this analysis from The WASHINGTON POST's Aaron Blake...

What? What? I'm shocked, shocked! Not Marc Rubio? Not Scott Walker? Not Rick Scott? Not Paul Ryan? Not Rick Santorum? Not Sarah Palin? What's wrong with the Republicans in this country?

Looks like you have to get along with Democrats if you want to get ahead... lol...

Kavips: Funny I was thinking a similar thought. Gov. Christie showed how to be a successful governor AND a successful President. As Governor, he worked with the President (from the other party) to get what his people in NJ needed after Sandy. That's why he is popular. He's able to put politics aside to get the job done. That's what most people want from their Governor, Congressional folks, and their President.

The GOP would be smart to nominate Chris Christie in 2016 for Prez.

It's very sad that everything in this nation is politicized, even tragedies such as Hurricane Sandy.

Governor Christie's approval has skyrocketed precisely because he did NOT politicize the storm, and worked his hardest to help people recover in his state.

Let's don't get too hyped about current polls. The New Jersey election is still, what, a year out? We should have learned by now that you can't even count on polls the day before an election.

That solely depends of course upon which polls you are looking at, the day before the election....

However I agree today's polls will matter little in a year....

I think polls this time last year had Herman Cain as beating Obama for the Presidency.....

Yeah, and I never could figure out what they had against Herman Cain. After all, the "racist" Republicans rolled out a black candidate and the left (in a figurative sense) did a lynch job on him!
