Is Andy Reid trying to take the focus off the bad job he's doing? I realize Jim Washburn had some issues in the short time he coached the defensive line and may have become a locker room problem. But it seems to me that Reid's continuing re-shaping of the roster and coaching staff is just a case of re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Reid continues to say the problems are fixable. But with a 3-9 record, an 8 game losing streak and play on the field getting worse, it's time for him to admit HE is the problem and offer to step down if Jeffrey Lurie wants. Reid's tenure has unraveled into a disaster and Lurie needs to be making plans now to replace him...whether at the end of the season or sooner.
I just wish some of these coaches (in this case Reid) would stop saying I'm responsible, then fire their underlings for the problems they created.

Andy Reid will most certainly go after this season's end, but let's be honest and recognize that Coach Andy is a Hall of Fame coach, and one of the greatest Eagles coaches of all time. He's taking the fall for an injury riddled team -- only four of the original 11 offensive starters have not been injured this year.
This is disgraceful to treat a coach this way, after all he has given the team for the past 15 years. Reminds me of how the Dallas Cowboys unceremoniously showed Coach Tom Landry the door in 1988 after a bad season. Disgraceful.

Congratulations to Andy Reid, the next head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs! Who would have thought that?
I think Howard Eskin should be the next Eagles coach!
