Chip Kelly immediately made an impression on the Philadelphia media...as well as the Eagles fan base. The new Eagles head coach showed he had a personality, a sense of humor, and wasn't bound by cliches while answering questions...a complete 180 from the last 14 years when "I've got to do a better job" and "Time's yours" dominated Andy Reid's dealings with the media.
I don't know if Chip Kelly's way of doing things on offense can work in the NFL...but I know that he was extremely creative as New Hamsphire's offensive coordinator, took it to a new level as head coach at Oregon, and believe he will find what will work in the NFL and what won't. Will he take the Eagles to the Super Bowl? Who knows. But I think it will be fun watching.

Chip Kelly wasn't exactly gung-ho about getting this job. He turned it down after being interviewed the first time, then changed his mind 10 days later.
The key to running Kelly's uptempo offense will be Michael Vick. Vick would appear to be a perfect fit, but there are still those in the Eagles media and fanbase who just assume Vick won't be around in 2013 because he makes too much money. However, if we want Kelly to be a success, we need to keep Vick and give Kelly the personnel he needs for his offense.

Vick's an injury waiting to happen. He's gone.
