Source to CBS News: Beau Biden undergoing tests for unknown cancer ailment
Late word: A source tells CBS News that Beau Biden has been admitted to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, to undergo tests for an unknown cancer ailment. (Although a call to the hospital could not confirm that; perhaps he's just not officially "admitted".)
(U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT has consistently ranked M.D. Anderson the best hospital for cancer treatment in the United States.)
The Delaware Attorney General - who suffered a mild stroke in May 2010 - felt weak and disoriented during a drive to Indiana last Wednesday, according to the Attorney General's office. So the eldest son of the Vice President went to Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago for treatment.
Beau Biden then discussed his symptoms with his physician at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
The Attorney General was apparently well enough Sunday to join his dad as they offered encouragement to members of the Newark National Little League team, headed to the Little League World Series.
Gee... at 44, Joseph Robinette 'Beau' Biden III is a rather young guy to have experienced so many health issues.
Considering (then) Congressman Mike Castle suffered a small stroke at the age of 67 - and some people murmured about his health during his Senate run - and health & age were subliminal factors in (then) Senator Bill Roth's loss to Tom Carper, one wonders if health could become a long-term issue for Beau Biden, particularly now with word about the tests for possible cancer. The "C" word is powerful in public perceptions.
His dad survived a brain aneuryism in 1988 - undergoing emergency surgery - and underwent a second surgery.

MikeFromDelaware: Let me get this straight. Your sadistic god makes people sick so he can get people praying and if they pray enough, he lets them get better. Sounds like your god gets off on making people suffer and then having them beg to make the suffering stop. And you all are supposed to love this thing?
I hope Biden lives long enough to see his corruption exposed and to find himself thrown in jail.

Likewise, my prayers are with Beau Biden. And billsmith: my prayers are with you also. You know, God and Mr. Obama have something in common. Whether we love Barry or not, he is still our elected president. And whether you like God or not, He is still God.

What a laugh! You can see Obama. Anybody ever seen this so-called god of yours?
Talk about self-deluded.

Time now for a "musical moment" from good ole Mr. Pizza. In celebration of the recent legalization of so-called "gay marriage" by the states of Maryland and Delaware, I wish to dedicate this song to one of its staunch proponents, Bill Smith.
This one's for you Bill!

Mike: Kind of a scary story. What's worse is that they even got one of the street names wrong. It's McDowell Avenue, not McDonnell.
I'm going to be conferring with the management if there will be any new policies on that section of town.

Mrpizza: why don't you switch to a suburban location?
Tue, Aug 20, 2013 8:54pm
MFD: Actually, I'm at a suburban location. The pizza joint is in Brookhaven and delivers not only to Chester, but Media, Wallingford, and Aston. For what it's worth, most of our Chester business is in the Widener University area, whereas most of the real bad parts of town belong to the Chichester Avenue store.
With the growth of suburban crime over the past 3 or so years, I'm not even sure it's any safer in Brandywine Hundred. In any event, thank you for your concern. One way you can help is to pray for my safety every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the evenings. Here's a link to some scriptures I'm claiming for myself and if you wish you may pray these scriptures over me. Thanks again.
I'd be delighted to pray for a hedge of protection for you. Be safe, and yes, trust in The Lord.
