Beau Biden returns to the A.G.'s office for staff meeting, but status still unclear
Three weeks after having been out of the office, first for an abbreviated vacation and then medical treatment, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden went back to his Wilmington office to meet with staff.
But the way the terse press release was worded, Beau Biden COULD have just returned to his office for that meeting without necessarily resuming his regular work schedule.
Still awaiting clarification from the A.G.'s spokesman Jason Miller.
Beau Biden himself has not spoken publicly about his latest health problem(s).

While I continue to maintain that a person's health is his/her own business, even if that person is a public official, I am finding this strange. A Biden keeping quiet about something?

Ordinarily I'd agree with JimH on this, but IF the health issue is preventing the person from doing his work, then we do need to know.
The Biden's need to say something. As JimH noted, that the Biden camp is sooooo quiet, says far more than if they made some statement.

Mike. An executive's duties are very different from a worker's duties. An executive can work effectively and never come into the office. In fact, an executive can get more good done on the golf course.
Using the industrial determination of an executive's worth - as in how many hours did you put in and pretend to work - is in error.
However, if he can't think; can't make proper decisions, then I think I too would have to side with your opinion.

Kavips: That could be the problem [didn't he just have a cancer episode where they operated on his head in Texas], but with the Biden Clan keeping a tight lip, how can we know? So for that reason I believe we should be told more than we're being told. It's just a little too quiet.
