Teen hospitalized, charged after crash

A Dover teen is charged in connection with a 2-car crash that left him and his passenger hospitalized Friday afternoon.

State Police say Steven Cain lost control of his car as he was passing another car on Leipsic Road near Lewes Street around 3 PM.

Cain's car hit a utility pole and the two cars collided.

The driver of the second car wasn't hurt, but Cain and his passenger were airlifted to Christiana Hospital with injuries police are calling serious, but not life-threatening.

Cain was charged with careless driving and not having proof of insurance.
