State of Emergency lifted downstate
Governor Markell's lifted the state of emergency for Kent and Sussex Counties.
The state of emergency was lifted at 8 PM Monday, and government offices in all 3
counties will be open Tuesday morning, with Sussex County offices opening an hour late at
9:30.
Sussex County officials remind residents shelters are open at Milford Middle School
and Sussex Central High School to accomodate those without electrical service due to the
snow that's slammed the area.
There's a non-emergency storm information hotline for residents whose properties are
damaged--the number is 302-856-7366.
