Rocks blank Dash in putchers duel

The Blue Rocks blanked the Winston-Salem Dash Sunday, 1-0, behind the pitching of starter Leonel Santiago and two relievers.

Santiago went 6 innings to pick up the win, after the Blue Rocks scored the only run of the game in the 3rd. He allowed just 3 hits and one walk in his first win since August 6th.

Blue Rocks pitchers have tossed 16 straight scoreless innings, stretching back to Saturday night.

The Rocks wrap up their season this afternoon against the Dash at 1:35 at Frawley Stadium.
