VIDEO: Lawsuit filed against former teacher The son of the former DelDOT Secretary and New Castle County Executive, Kermit and Rita Justice, files suit against a former teacher for sexual abuse.. Video Here His attorney says Kermit Justice, Jr. was abused by John James Fleming, a convicted sex offender, who worked as a teacher and wrestling coach at St. Edmond's Academy in the 1980s. Joelle Casteix of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, says after learning about the allegations years ago, the school simply let Fleming resign instead of contacting authorities. School Headmaster Michael Marinelli says the school is a safe place.
