Capel family of coaches savoring 76ers' success

The Capel coaching family is savoring every NBA playoff win by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Jeff Jr. is an assistant with the Sixers, who are poised to eliminate the top-seeded Chicago Bulls in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. He has two sons in college coaching: Jeff III is an assistant at Duke and Jason is head coach at Appalachian State.

Both can keep a close watch on their dad's recent success since it's the college offseason. That includes helping Jeff Jr. celebrate being a part of his first NBA playoff victory as a coach - Philadelphia's road win in Game 2 of the best-of-seven series.

Jeff Capel III says the 76ers' playoff success is special for a family that understands the highs and lows of coaching.
