Delmarva Power says lights are all back on
Delmarva Power says the lights are back on throughout the state.
The state's largest utility says as of 12:30 Friday morning, the last of its customers without power due to Hurricane Sandy had their power restored.
More than 70,000 customers lost power at the height of the storm Monday afternoon.
Delmarva Power says the vast majority of the customers had their electricity back on within 36 hours.
Delmarva Power president Gary Stockbridge thanked the utility's customers for their patience and more than 3,400 employees, contractors and out-of-state mutual assistance personnel for their help in getting the power back on.
