Early morning shooting wounds two in Wilmington Police say two Wilmington residents have been hospitalized after being shot early this morning. It happened at 1:29 a.m. when officers responding to a report of shots fired and a large crowd in the area of 28th Street and North East Boulevard found two gunshot victims at the scene. The officers began CPR on the 30-year-old man until paramedics arrived and transported the him to Christiana Hospital Emergency room to be treated. His status is currently unknown. The 32-year-old woman who was shot, was wounded in the lower portion of her body and was transported to Wilmington Hospital by a private vehicle. Her status is also currently unknown. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can contact Wilmington Police or CrimeStoppers. |
