Carney remembers DE Day, Pearl Harbor attack
Congressman Carney says December 7th is a double milestone day for Delawareans.
In a statement issued Thursday, the Democrat paid tribute to the state's founding fathers for making Delaware the first state to ratify the US Constitution December 7th, 1787.
He also remembered veterans who lost their lives in World War II, which America entered after the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor December 7th, 1941.
