Wilmington teen accidentally shoots himself A self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg may serve as a reminder to a Wilmington teen not to play with guns. The 16-year-old boy was walking with a group of people in the area of West Fifth and North Broom streets around 5 p.m. Monday when his gun went off. He was transported to the hospital, and charged by police with one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited. |
