VIDEO: Salesianum survives defensive struggle with Tatnall

Donte DiVincenzo scored 16 points as Salesianum overcame a tough Tatnall defense in a 41-30 non-conference victory Tuesday night.

The Sals led 32-21 going into the fourth quarter, only to watch Joe Cooper pick up a pair of assists during a 9-1 quarter-opening run which cut the Sals' lead to 33-30. Cooper then had an opportunity at a tying three-pointer moments later, but it bounced off the rim.

On the next Salesianum possession, Donte DiVincenzo sliced through the right side of the lane for a hanging lay-up, which sparked the game-ending 8-0 run by the hosts.

Salesianum, who improved to 9-2, were aided by 14 points from sharpshooter Nick Perugino. Ian Cella-Hoffman hit a pair of threes on his way to 8 points to lead Tatnall, who dropped to 3-8.
