VIDEO: Salesianum races away from Church Farm Salesianum's Donte DiVincenzo scored 17 points as the Sals improved to 10-2 with a convincing 57-34 win over Church Farm (Pa.) Monday night at the Concord Classic. After giving up the opening basket to Larry Cermak, the Sals scored the next 7 points, capped off by a DiVincenzo three to take a lead they would never relinquish. A second three by the sophomore made it 18-12 Salesianum after eight minutes. Superb defense by the Sals held Church Farm to just four points in the second quarter, as the lead swelled to 29-16 at halftime. In the end the combination of DiVincenzo and Nick Perugino (10 points) on the outside, and Brian O'Neill on the inside (13 points) proved too much, as Salesianum cruised to victory. |
