St. E's Patton clips Archmere with last second free throws
Andre Patton drained two free throws with .5 seconds left to give St. Elizabeth a 47-46 win over Archmere.
Patton led all scorers with 28 points, including 12 for 12 from the free throw line...he came into the game averaging 25 per game. He also grabbed 18 rebounds.
At the end of the 3rd quarter, the senior was honored for becoming the school career scoring leader, surpassing the record held by Mike Sheehan of 1,425 points.
Later this morning, Patton will sign a national letter of intent to play football at Rutgers.
