Thieves steal bleachers from school Thieves have stolen a set of new bleachers from a Delaware school. The News Journal reports that the bleachers were taken from Christ the Teacher Catholic School in Glasgow. The school's principal, Sister LaVerne King, says she believes thieves needed a truck to take the bleachers. They were made of aluminum and believed to weigh more than 800 pounds. The school recently bought four sets of bleachers for a field where students play baseball and softball. Each set cost the school $1,200 plus $200 for delivery. Three sets remain. |
