VIDEO: St. Elizabeth girls roll past Appoquinimink
St. Elizabeth's Macy Robinson scored 17 points as the Vikings tuned up for the state tournament with an easy 66-41 win over Appoquinimink.
The Vikings controlled the game from the beginning as they went on a 21-6 run in the first quarter. Meanwhile the Blue Hen Conference regular season champion opponents struggled shooting and failed to make a three pointer in the game. The Vikings had a 24 point lead over the Jaguars going into the half as they were up 44-20.
St. Elizabeth's Sabrina Hackendorn added 16 points, while Jocelyn Rodriguez scored 12 points, and Gabby Julian scored 10 points. Amber Cale led the Jaguars with 18 points.
St. Elizabeth improves to (15-4) and will close out the regular season on Wednesday when they're at Delaware Military Academy. Appoquinimink had their three game winning streak snapped and fell to 15-3 on the season. The Jaguars will be at Padua Academy on Wednesday.
