Body found in river tied to murder probe
Authorities say a body found in a river near Leipsic is that of a man killed by his daughter and her boyfriend.
State police said Wednesday that the body discovered near the Leipsic River Bridge on Tuesday is that of 45-year-old Tony Mozick, who died of multiple stab wounds.
Mozick's body was found more than a month after police charged 23-year-old Jennifer Barnes and 24-year-old Gerard Schweiger with first-degree murder.
Police say Barnes invited Schweiger to her father's home on Jan. 5, that the two men fought, and that Mozick was stabbed.
Investigators say the couple placed Mozick's body in a 55-gallon container and left it in a garage overnight, then dumped it into the river the next day.
Police began investigating after Mozick's mother reported him missing
