Man arrested in shooting that led to car crash last year Wilmington police have charged a man with first-degree murder in a shooting that led to a car crash in which the victim died. Twenty-eight-year-old Jeffery Kent of Wilmington was arrested Wednesday in the death of 62-year-old Dewey Lee of Newark. Kent is being held without bail. Police say on June 30, 2011, Lee was found in the driver's seat of a pickup truck after it crashed into a telephone pole. Officers found Lee had been shot in the torso. Lee died at a hospital. |
