Independent living with disabilities focus of Gov.'s weekly message
The Director of state Housing Authority says has been awarded $5.1 million from the federal government to help those with disabilities and low incomes.
Filling in for Gov. Markell to deliver the latest weekly address, Anas Ben-Addi says Delaware was only one of the 13 states whose applications for the funding were approved.
Ben-Addi says helping those with disabilities and low income should have opportunities to live independently and participate in their communities.
