Accidental fire in Wilmington displaces family
An early morning house fire in Wilmington is deemed accidental.
A home on Paisley Road in the Hyde Park development caught fire just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say an electrical malfunction in the attic caused the blaze.
Fire department crews were called back to the scene at 5 a.m. when the fire rekindled on the opposite side of the house.
No injuries were reported. Damage to the residence is estimated at $250,000.
Two people have been displaced.
