Alleged Thunderguards hangout spot condemned
The Wilmington Police and Fire departments have shut down an alleged Thunderguards Motorcycle Club hang out spot.
Police say complaints of loud noise from pedestrians and motorcycles during late night hours drew them to a garage on the 1700 block of Conrad Street near the Hilltop neighborhood Friday.
Upon entering the garage, police say the Licensing and Inspections department found several code violations and condemned the building.
The fire department says the facility was being used as a make-shift clubhouse for a Thunderguards chapter.
The investigation is ongoing.
