Man charged in year-old murder at New Castle truck stop

A 21-year-old man faces charges in connection with a murder at a New Castle truck stop last year.

State Police say Larry Bailey of New Castle fatally shot 56-year-old Ronald Hardy in the chest last April during a robbery.

Hardy's body was left at the scene at the Delaware Truck Plaza on South DuPont Highway.

His accomplice, Carrie Webb of New Castle, plead guilty to robbery charges in March and is awaiting sentencing.

Bailey is being held without bail on first-degree murder charges.
