UDPD identify alleged gunman in shots fired incident

University of Delaware police have identified the man who allegedly shot at a man whom he fought during a basketball game on a campus court Monday night.

Police say 20-year-old Brandon Fletcher of New Castle is wanted on four counts of first degree reckless endangering, four counts of aggravated menacing, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and criminal mischief.

Fletcher is accused of firing a gun at another person whom he'd fought with after an argument escalated into a fistfight amid a basketball game at UD's Laird Campus.

The gunfire struck a vehicle but no injuries were reported.

Police say they've also arrested Fletcher's alleged getaway driver, 21-year-old Antonio McCray-Bradley of New Castle.

McCray-Bradley has been charged with hindering prosecution and providing a false statement to law enforcement. He was released on $4,000 unsecured bond.

Neither Fletcher or McCray-Bradley are UD students.

Fletcher is described as 6 feet tall with a slim build, weighing about 155 pounds. He's believed to be armed and dangerous, and police caution that anyone encountering him should use caution.

Anyone with information on Fletcher's whereabouts can call University of Delaware police or Delaware CrimeStoppers.
