Blue Hens look to snap losing streak to Maine

Delaware travels to Maine Saturday in a match-up of top 25 teams.

The Blue Hens are ranked 24th this week in the Sports Network poll while the Black Bears are number 23.

Delaware leads the series 23-9, but Maine has won 4 of the last 6, and the last two in a row.

Coach Dave Brock says Maine is a solid, talented football team, but he also thinks his Blue Hens match up well with Maine if they can get the ball outside.

"They play, you know, pretty well on the perimeter, they match up well, you know, pretty athletic on the perimeter. But like every week, I would tell you, I'm going to go into most, if not all games, and feel good about our match-ups on the perimeter."

Former Tatnall star Justin Perillo has caught 20 passes for 255 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Black Bears.
