Famous director appears at DSU

Lee Daniels, whose films include "The Butler" and "Precious" appears at Delaware State University Thursday night.

The producer/director is guest speaker at 7:00 p.m. at the DSU Education and Humanities Theatre in Dover.

The event is free and open to the public.

"The Butler" is in current release and has already grossed more than $110-million.

Daniels also founded and ran a health care agency by the age of 21 before selling that business and turning to screenwriting and management of talent in Hollywood.
