Police: Man pistol-whipped and robbed in Wilmington

Wilmington police are looking for three men who robbed a 27-year-old city man at gunpoint on Monday.

It happened around 10:32 p.m. at the intersection of E. 24th and N. Market Streets.

Police say a man was walking on N. Market Street when he was approached by three men who were carrying guns.

The men demanded the victims' property and then pistol-whipped him when he didn't comply. The suspects made off with the man's cell phone.

The suspects are described as following:


  • Suspect one: 20-25 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180-190 pounds with a thin build and wearing a black hoodie.

  • Suspect two: 20-25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, 180-190 pounds with a thin build and wearing a black hoodie.

  • Suspect three: 20-25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 185 to 195 pounds with a small build and braided hair and wearing a black hoodie.
