DANG breaks ground on new facility at Bethany training site
The Delaware National Guard breaks ground on a state of the art training facility at the Bethany Beach training site.

The 14,000 square foot training and administrative building for the 193rd Regional Training Institute will be energy efficient, and the construction is being done by a Delaware company, EDIS.
The cost of the project is $6 million, but federal funds are being used.
Major General Frank Vavala is the Adjutant General for the Delaware National Guard, and he says the project is about solidify the National Guard's future.
"This is all about enhancing our professionalism and proficiency of our Delaware National Guard cause that's really what this is all about, regional training institute. This is where we train our soldiers and airmen," says Vavala.
The facility is expected to be completed in 12-18 months.
