New parent resouce centers open in Christina School District

Parents in the Christina School District have two new centers where they can use computers and school resources.

Spokeswoman Wendy Lapham says one is in the district's office on Lombard Street in Wilmington.

"In our administrative building we have a perfect spot right by the front entrance that includes a meeting room and a nice big space with a couch and chairs where parents can gather, a couple of computer terminals," she said.

The other is in Gauger-Cobbs Middle School in Newark. There are resource centers in other schools, but Lapham says these new spaces have expanded resources, meeting spaces and computer access.
