Unemployment benefits extended
By Frank Gerace
If you're unemployed and worried your benefit payments may run out soon, you're in luck, thanks to a bill signed into law earlier this month by President Obama.

McPherson says those who may qualify for the additional payments will be mailed
information and instructions, and if you think you're qualified and don't get anything in
the mail, you can call your nearest Unemployment Insurance office.
