A local student-run organization at the Charter School of Wilmington is doing what they can, here at home, to help earthquake-ravaged countries.

This weekend, the Humanitarian League of Delaware (HLD) will be packing 10,000 meals of rice and soy mixtures to be shipped to either Haiti or Japan.

J. Austin Osborne is the group's Co-President. He traveled to Jacmel, Haiti, in August.

Osborne says they raised more than $2,800 to purchase 11,000 meals from Stop Hunger.

They'll be packing Saturday from 12pm-3pm at the Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington.
