Congressman John Carney
Congressman Carney's introduced a bill designed to force an up-or-down vote on some Fiscal Year 2012 budget cuts proposed by President Obama.

Carney's bill would compel lawmakers to vote yes or no on the President's Termination, Reductions and Savings, or TRS proposal, which supporters say would save about 20 million dollars annually by ending or scaling back government programs that aren't meeting their objectives, are inefficient, or duplicate other programs.

Carney claims members of both parties have dragged their feet when it comes to considering the proposed cuts.
