By Don Voltz 8:26am, April 20, 2011Prosecutors have decided not to file charges against former Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra after he was arrested on suspicion of trying to buy a stolen car.
The investigation is still ongoing and its not known whether charges could be filed at a later date.
However, Dykstra isn't out of the woods yet.
He's been in jail since last week awaiting word on whether charges would be filed.
And federal authorities are expected to charge him on a separate bankruptcy charge.
He was recently charged with embezzling money from a bankruptcy estate. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
