There was a pitchers duel at Frwaley Stadium on Sunday and the Blue Rocks came out on the short end of it.

Rocks' lefthander Daniel Stumpf was outstanding, giving up just one run on 6 hits in 5 and two-third innings...but Winston-Salem's pitching was even better as the Dash downed the Blue Rocks 1-0.

Dash shortstop Tim Anderson knocked in the only run of the game on a two-out double in the third.

The Blue Rocks manages just three hits off three Winston-Salem pitchers and struck out 11 times.

The four game series wraps up tonight at Frawley Stadium at 6:35pm.
