The Blue Rocks ended the first half of the Carolina League season with a 7-0 shutout at the hands of the Winston-Salem Dash.

Winston-Salem threw four relievers at the Blue Rocks, holding them to just 4 hits.

The Blue Rocks have been shut out 9 times in the first half of the season, 5 of them by the Dash. The 9 times are by far the most in the Carolina League...the next closest team has been blanked just 4 times this season.

The Blue Rocks will take most of the week off for the Carolina League-California League All-Star game in San Jose, California Tuesday night.

They'll be back in action Friday night at home against the Salem Red Sox.
