Report: Delaware gets "F" on premature births

Delaware gets a grade of "F" on the March of Dimes Premature Birth Report Card.
It's the same grade as last year, the first year for the report card. However, March
of Dimes state director Aleks Casper says the report also showed good news. Audio Here
Premature birth is defined as birth before 37 weeks of gestation. The rate of
pre-term birth in Delaware is 9.9 percent. Casper says one factor in reducing that is
pre-conception healthcare for women.
