The driver of a car hit head-on by another car Monday night has now died.

Matthew Wilson of Mill Creek becomes the fourth person to die in that wreck on Route 72 just outside Newark Monday night.

State police say 17 year old Israel Merida of Bear did not have a driver's license and may have been drinking at the time of the crash. He was driving 80 miles per hour when he lost control of his car, which hit Wilson's car head-on.

Francisco Contreras of Bear and Jose Ortiz of New Castle, who was 15, were also killed. A fourth passenger, Hector Gran-Meria of New Castle was thrown out of the car. He remains in critical condition.
