The university showed off its second fuel cell bus, which basically runs on a big battery.

The new bus is 2 to 3 times more fuel-efficient than a diesel bus, and is twice as powerful as the first bus developed by the University's Center for Fuel Cell Research.

The bus is 22 feet long and can seat 22 passengers, and it's much quieter than a regular diesel bus. The university hopes to have a fleet of four buses by 2011, and plans to extend service to Wilmington and Dover.
