Biden to lead UD campaign rally
By Frank Gerace Share

Senator Biden will be at the University of Delaware Friday morning to get out the vote for the Democratic ticket.

WDEL's Frank Gerace reports.

The Democrats' Vice-Presidential hopeful will take center stage at the "Change We Need" rally on the green outside Memorial Hall on the Newark campus.

The Obama-Biden campaign says Biden will discuss running mate Barack Obama's "commitment to restoring our economic security" and replacing what Obama and Biden say are the failed policies of the Bush administration.

Biden will also tout his middle-class upbringing and connection to Delaware.

The public will be admitted to the free, rain-or-shine event at 8 AM, and the program is scheduled to start at 10:30.

Biden was in Missouri Thursday, as was Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin.
