Area vet joins others calling for Afghan surge

A retired Army Captain from Delaware will be amog the veterans lobbying in Washington Thursday for more troops to be sent to Afghanistan.

Pete Bohn of Laurel says the key to success over insurgents in Afghanistan is to ingratiate ourselves to those who fear them.Audio Here

Bohn says lives lost is an unfortunate and inevitable byproduct of close military engagement, but he says we should never chance finding out what could happen here, if we don't suppress the Taliban and Al Qaeda there.
