Bhatt says DELDOT will overhaul operations in line with audit

Delaware's Transportation Secretary says DELDOT faces an overhaul in the wake of an audit that uncovered lax financial management and risky real estate deals.
Shailen Bhatt tells WDEL News the auditor found a slew of checks made out to the agency that never got to the bank.

Bhatt says DELDOT is also putting measures into place to ensure that any real estate sales are transportation-related, and that better records are kept.
